8 Gbps symmetric.Netomnia full fibre.

The newest fibre in your patch. Full symmetric. Built post-2020. Sold by us.

We deliver Netomnia's open-access XGS-PON network to business sites across Yorkshire, the Midlands, and the North East. Symmetric speeds up to 8 Gbps, static IPs, /29 blocks on bigger tiers, single SLA from us — Netomnia is the wires, we're the service. For postcodes outside Netomnia's footprint we deliver the same business broadband over Openreach, CityFibre, or FreedomFibre. Need a dedicated single-tenant circuit with a 99.99% SLA? 8 Gbps

Symmetric. Up the line and down it. Netomnia top tier.

The fastest retail business connection in any of the towns Netomnia serves. XGS-PON makes full symmetric possible — Openreach FTTP can't match the upload.

01Why Netomnia

Four things their network does better.

Netomnia is a relatively new altnet — built from scratch from 2020 onwards. That means a modern PON spec, modern kit, and a coverage map built for towns Openreach was late to upgrade.

Symmetric XGS-PON

Netomnia builds with XGS-PON gear — full symmetric speeds up the line, not the asymmetric 100/30 you get on Openreach FTTP. Upload matters when you're sending video or backups.

Up to 8 Gbps line rate

Real-world line rate up to 8 Gbps symmetric, where speed-of-light and your router can keep up. We sell 0.5 / 1 / 1.8 / 2 / 8 Gbps tiers; bigger custom on leased-line pricing.

Open-access wholesale

Netomnia is a Layer-2 wholesale network — we (Giant) sell the service, Netomnia provides the fibre. You get our support + our SLA, on their physical infrastructure.

Built post-2020, modern kit

Netomnia's network is new — no creaking copper underneath, no legacy DSL contention shaping. The physical layer is the most modern fibre in the towns it serves.

02Speed tiers

Pick your speed. All symmetric.

Symmetric means upload = download. Most businesses don't realise their Openreach FTTP gives them 115Mbps upload on a 1Gb plan; on Netomnia, 1Gb is 1Gb both ways. Cards below are live from our Netomnia feed — the `accent-*` styling on this page is overridden to Netomnia pink, so every card on this page picks up the brand colour automatically.

Coverage — UK

Coverage is live —
check your postcode.

Netomnia targets towns where Openreach FTTP rolled out late or patchily, and the footprint changes as the build extends. We don't publish a town list that goes stale — availability is checked live at the address. Drop in a postcode and we'll tell you straight away whether your site is in-stock, in-build, or not yet reached.

Not in the Netomnia footprint? The build plan keeps extending — your patch might be in survey or build. Ask us with your postcode; if Netomnia isn't building there, we'll quote the best Openreach FTTP / leased-line alternative instead.

03Vs Openreach FTTP

Side-by-side, honest comparison.

Openreach FTTP is fine — it's available everywhere and the underlying tech is solid. Netomnia's specific advantages over it, where coverage overlaps:

Who actually picks Netomnia over Openreach.

Office HQ

30–100 staff, hybrid working. Symmetric upload matters when half the team is video-conferencing. 1Gbps Netomnia handles 50 concurrent calls without breaking sweat.

Multi-tenant building

Co-working space, serviced offices. 2Gbps+ symmetric across all tenants. Static /29 to host VPN endpoints on-site for each tenant subnet.

Production / media

Studio, post-prod, photographer. Heavy daily upload to cloud (Frame.io, S3, Wasabi). Openreach's 115 Mbps upload chokes; Netomnia symmetric doesn't.

10–20

Working days to install — stock-area postcodes.

If your site is 'in-build' (Netomnia laying fibre but not yet past your premises), expect 4–12 weeks. We quote realistic dates at order, never marketing ones.

Symmetric 1.8G needs more than a Wi-Fi 6 box.

Netomnia services above 2.5G ship with the Zyxel EE5301 — Wi-Fi 7, dedicated 10G WAN, built to actually deliver multi-gig end-to-end. Sub-2.5G Netomnia plans ship with the DX3301. Kit cost is itemised at order — sometimes included, sometimes priced as an add-on depending on the tariff.

06FAQ

Real questions, honest answers.

A UK open-access wholesale fibre network builder. They build the physical XGS-PON fibre infrastructure (typically as the alt-net competitor to Openreach in towns where Openreach FTTP is patchy or late), and license access to ISPs like Giant who sell the actual customer service. Founded 2020, scaled to ~3 million UK premises passed by end-2025.

The newest fibre in town. Sold by us.

Run a postcode check — we'll confirm Netomnia availability, quote the right tier, and schedule install if you're in stock. If you're not, we'll quote the best alternative.
