Coming soon — Giant Mobile. Same freedom, better deal.
Residential · For Gamers

Lag isfor losers.

Your vibe. Your tribe.

Sub-10ms latency to UK exchanges. Symmetric upload for streamers. Giga Boost for download-heavy patch nights (looking at you, Warzone's 200GB seasonal drop). No fake "gamer tier" upsell — our full fibre broadband is already tuned for low latency, direct-peered with Blizzard, Activision, and Ubisoft, and never QoS'd. Your 1Gbps or 8Gbps tier just leans harder on the network the rest of our customers already get. Lag spikes? Run a speed test first — most of the time the line's fine. From £23.99/mo inc VAT. Skill issue? That's on you.

01Why gamers pick Giant

Tuned for the scoreboard, not the spreadsheet.

Most ISPs tune their network for video — fat downstream, skinny upstream, deep buffers. We tune for low-latency, packet-loss-free, symmetric. Different problem, different fix.

Sub-10ms to UK exchanges

Our network is directly peered across UK networks for low latency. Your packets don't take the scenic route via Frankfurt. CoD lobbies, CS2 5-stacks, FACEIT matches — single-digit ms where it matters.

Symmetric upload

550M / 1Gbps / 8Gbps tiers are symmetric. Stream to Twitch in 1080p60 while pushing an M+ key. Host the Valheim server. Sync the 200GB Warzone patch without choking anyone else.

Giga Boost on demand*

Tears of the Kingdom dropped a midnight patch? Skyrim mod pack? FFXIV expansion launch? Toggle Giga Boost in the customer portal — self-service uncap for the evening, no phone call, no extra cost. *Available on selected packages.

Console-friendly NAT

Open NAT out of the box on the Giant router. Party chat actually works. No 'connection failed' on Warzone, no port-forwarding rabbit hole, no Reddit thread on UPnP at 11pm.

Direct peer to the publishers

We peer directly with Blizzard, Activision, and Ubisoft. Packets to Battle.net, the Call of Duty launch servers, Overwatch ranked, Rainbow Six Siege, and Assassin's Creed go publisher-to-Giant without bouncing through a third-party transit — shaving the wobble out of your ping.

02The lobbies that matter

Tested against the games you actually play.

UK pings to the servers your favourite games actually use, from a Giant 1Gbps line. The Blizzard / Activision / Ubisoft titles ride our direct-peering lanes — the rest go over our low-latency UK peering. Numbers measured from our UK office; expect ±2ms from your house depending on the route. No more blaming the ISP for the kill-cam.

Don't see your game? It's probably routed through the same London / Frankfurt / Amsterdam POPs everyone else uses — add ~2ms to the closest equivalent above and you'll be near enough. Cloud-gaming services (Xbox xCloud, PlayStation Plus Premium, Luna) sit in the GeForce-Now bracket.

On the horizon

Patch nights worth pre-loading for.

What's launching, when. Set an alarm for the ones that matter.

The next eighteen months are stacked. Forza Horizon 6 is up first (Q2 2026), then Beast of Reincarnation (Q3 2026), and Fable (Q4 2026). Live-service games — Warzone, Fortnite, Destiny, Apex — keep pumping out 80–150 GB seasonal patches on top. Anything older than a copper-era ADSL line is going to feel every one of them.

A 1Gbps full-fibre tier from Giant handles the average AAA day-one install in well under an hour. The 8Gbps tier (where it reaches) clears the same install in a few minutes — meaningful when half the lobby is queued for the launch tournament and you don't want to be the one sitting on the loading bar. If your existing line feels slow, the speed test page will tell you whether it's the line or something local.

Game data refreshed daily; release windows are publisher-signalled and slip constantly in this space. We update the list as headliners firm up dates and as new tentpoles get announced.

Watch the bars race. No skill issue here.

Pick a file size. Watch the slowest tier inch along while 8Gbps clears it before the patch notes finish loading. Real-world ETA shown — that's the actual gap. Warzone's seasonal drop is roughly the Game tier.

Real-time animation — bars fill at the actual rate the file would download at that line speed. Slow tiers may not finish in your attention span, which is the point. Numbers assume line-rate without contention or Wi-Fi loss.

05The kit

The router matters on a 2.5G+ line.

A Wi-Fi 6 box bottlenecks at ~1 Gbps regardless of how fast the line is — fine for sub-gig tiers, not fine for the 1.8G symmetric, multi-gig, or leased-line tiers. We send the right one for your speed.

Gaming questions, straight answers.

On full fibre + UK gameservers: 5–10ms typical, 12–18ms to EU servers, 80–110ms to US East. Our network is UK-peered for low latency. If your game has UK servers you're talking single-digit ms — measure yours on the wired speed test.
