Install, where the fibre's already there.
If existing fibre runs past your building and no wayleave is needed, we can be live in 10 working days. Most installs are 30–60. Heavy-civils sites stretch to 90. We're honest about which you're looking at on day 1.
Same fibre under the road. Different contract on top.
What you actually buy with a leased line isn't more bandwidth — business broadband can hit 1 Gbps too. What you buy is a contract: single-tenant capacity, a stricter SLA, faster fix windows, dedicated wayleave. That's the 5–10× price premium right there.

The honest read: most UK SMBs are well-served by business broadband. Leased lines pay back when downtime costs more per hour than the line costs per month — typically £400+/hr of revenue or compliance risk.
Three brackets. Live quotes, no sales chase.
We don't publish from-prices on leased lines because the honest answer always depends on your site — distance to nearest POP, civils, wayleave, redundancy choice. Pick the bracket that fits, run it through the live quoter below for your exact address, and save what you want. We won't chase you — you come back to us when you're ready to order.
Symmetric · single-site SMB
Small office, modest team, single connection
Symmetric · most popular for 50–250-seat HQs
Head office, contact centre, multi-site spoke
Symmetric · campus / DC / broadcast
Big estates, video/broadcast, data centre uplink
The bits a leased line actually delivers.
End-to-end SLA
99.99% uptime, 4-hour fix target, monthly service credits if we miss. Independent monitoring posted on a public status page.
Single-tenant fibre
Your fibre, your bandwidth — no contention. Symmetric upload = download. Full headline rate, every second of every minute.
10–90 day install
If existing fibre passes the building, as fast as 10 working days. Civils / wayleave-required sites stretch to 60–90. We give a date at survey, not a window.
Carrier diverse
Resilient-pair option — two physical fibres, separate exchange paths, BGP-failed-over at the router. For when one circuit isn't enough.
Three levels of "never going down".
Single circuit, diverse pair, dual carrier. Pick by what an outage actually costs you. Most UK leased-line installs land on single; financial services and regulator-mandated setups go diverse pair or dual carrier.
Single circuit
One fibre, one path, single carrier. 99.99% SLA, 4-hr fix. The default — appropriate for offices that can absorb a handful of hours of downtime once or twice a year.
Diverse pair
Two physical fibres on geographically-separated paths, terminating at different exchanges. BGP failover at the router. Still one carrier, but no single point of physical failure.
Dual carrier
Two completely separate circuits from two separate carriers (e.g. CityFibre + Openreach). Survives both fibre cuts AND a carrier-network outage. For regulator-mandated resilience.
Nine sectors. Same single-tenant fibre.

Five stages.
No fairy tales.
Other carriers quote "10 days" for everything and then ghost you when wayleave drags on. Here's the honest five-step view of what a leased-line install actually goes through, and where the time really gets spent.
Postcode survey
We desk-check fibre proximity to your building, identify nearest POP, flag civils risk. Quote inside 48h with confidence band.
Site survey
Engineer walks the building, confirms fibre entry point, identifies the comms room, agrees patch route. Wayleave assessed.
Wayleave / civils
Where required: landlord wayleave signed, council permits filed, civils crew booked. Often the longest single step on heavy-civils sites.
Install + commission
Carrier install team pulls the fibre, terminates in your comms room, hands off ethernet to our pre-configured router. We test end-to-end.
Live + handover
Circuit live on your network. Public status-page entry stood up, monitoring active, SLA clock running. Account manager hands you over to support.
Step 03 (wayleave/civils) is the only step with significant variance — that's why some installs go in 10 days and others take 90. We can usually predict which side of that you'll land on after the desk survey on day 1.
85% gigabit-capable by 2025.
The UK Government has committed to making 85% of premises gigabit-capable by 2025 — meaning copper-based broadband is being progressively retired across the country. A leased line isn't just a faster connection, it's the migration path to a network architecture that's still being supported in five years.
85% gigabit-capable mandate
Government Project Gigabit pushing fibre to 85% of UK premises. Copper-FTTC progressively retired.
PSTN switch-off
BT Openreach retiring the public switched telephone network. Anything still on copper voice has to migrate.
Fibre-first default
Most enterprise contracts will assume fibre delivery; legacy copper-circuit re-tenders becoming non-trivial to source.
Quotes now. Not 'we'll be in touch'.
The quoter prices the carrier panel against your exact address on the spot. Save what you want — we don't chase saved quotes. No sales call, no nudge emails: when you're ready to order, you come back to us with the reference.
You'll know what's happening at every step.
Every broadband and leased-line order is tracked through five named stages. SMS and email auto-fire as each stage clears — no chasing your account manager, no "we'll be in touch" silence. You always know which day this is on.
