Live on Giant
Number transfers overnight (2am–6am) on your chosen date. Old line goes silent, new digital line rings. Old provider's contract auto-cancels — we tell them.
We handle the One Touch Switch paperwork with your old provider — you don't speak to them. The cutover (when the actual line moves) takes under 30 seconds. Most people don't notice it happen.
When the power's out,
the phone still rings.
The honest answer: a digital phone needs the broadband to be alive, and the broadband needs power. So we plan for the power-cut scenario explicitly — Ofcom mandates it (rule GC C5), and we go further than the minimum.

Even if everything fails, your nearest mobile cell-site routes 999 calls free of charge under Ofcom's universal-emergency rule. We register your address with the operator the day the line goes live.
