New front-end telephone panel released.
This is our biggest announcement!
Everyone at Giant is glad to announce we have now released our new ‘Front-end’ phone system management panel and the great news is, it’s all available within your giant portal account at no extra charge! Simply login to your giant account and navigate to: Dashboard > Services > Your VoIP service to see the new interface.
Of course, this is our initial basic release so not all telephone features are currently available for management via your Giant account, just yet but it’s coming very soon!
Remember: You can always access the more advanced features by logging into the telephone cloud portal directly too if you don’t want to wait for more features to be added.
The following features are available upon release:
- Manage your telephone numbers: From directly in your user panel, you can change the destination(s), labels and enable call recording for all your telephone numbers in your Giant Account.
- Extension management: Create, edit, delete extensions at any time.
- Custom destinations: You are now able to create new custom destination numbers, this is useful for creating new diverts for your account.
- Auto-provisioning: You can now take advantage of Giants’ auto-provisioning and ‘Zero-touch’ capabilities by simply adding your existing hardware to your account for automatic ‘plug and play’ programming with zero input from our selves. Assign multiple extensions to the same handset and more!
- Hunt Lists / Ring Groups: Set up multi call functions for your telephone system, you can create hunt lists and assign custom destinations and existing destinations to these hunt lists to have every member of the list called simultaneously.
- Full CDR(s) and call logs: You can access your CDR(s) and call logs, monitor your call traffic, and listen to your recorded calls, all within this LIVE call log screen.
- Giant VoiceCloud App Easy setup: You can now invite your staff/users to use Giants’ VoIP telephone smartphone app via the platform via sending them an email invitation, that contains instructions on how to set up the app and the QR code they need to scan.
In our future releases we will be including:
- Queue management systems: You will be able to create, edit and delete your inbound call queues directly from our billing platform, program which extensions are to be called when trying to connect to a user within a specific queue, change queue announcements, enable our ‘Request a call back’ feature.
- IVR management: Probably one of our most popular features, we will enable you to set up and change how IVR(s) work on your phone system like changing destination for every key press, for example “Press 1 for sales” this can be set to transfer callers to your newly created sales queue.
- Music on Hold: Upload and create new Music playlists to give your callers something unique to listen to while they’re waiting.
- Media File Management: Upload new sound files like .wav and .mp3 files for use with announcements, music on hold, voice mail greetings etc.
- Create condition Schedules: Create diary-based call conditions from within your account to change how your phone system behaves based on Time, date, weekday, or holiday.
- Voicemail viewing and management: Create and edit your voicemail box(s), upload and record your own greetings, enable voicemail to email capabilities and best of all, listen to your inbox via the portal.
- Call Recording playback: Listen to your recorded calls via Giants’ portal.
New email notification service.
Types of Email notifications:
- Abandoned Call Queue: Get notified when a caller abandons your inbound call queue which contain their telephone number, which queue they left, how long they were waiting before leaving and the date and time this occurred.
- Extension Status(s): You can now be notified when one of your extensions is detected to be offline by our systems which also will give you tips on how to fix the problem yourself. You will also be notified when the extension comes back online.
- Voicemail related Emails: You can enable voicemails to be emailed directly to yourself whenever you receive them so you can still listen to them while away from your device. This also can include speech to text transcription, this means your telephone system will recognise speech and send it in text format too.
- Missed call alerts: Get notified whenever you miss a call.
- Reports: Have your auto-generated reports emailed to you directly when you choose.
New Telephone purchasing process and panel:
We’re pleased to announce when ordering new telephone services, customers now have a choice of ALL UK geographic and non-geographic phone number area codes, you can now purchase from 1000’s of new available telephone number 24/7 365.
New Globally available Time/Date-based conditions and schedules:
Default conditions are now available. The following conditions are now available for your use to schedule how you phone system will behave based on:
- UK Bank Holidays
- UK Holidays
- Typical work weekday (Mon – Friday, 9-5).
Of course, you can always program your own phone system schedules via our portal.
