New VoIP Portal Features and Updates: Becoming a Hybrid cloud-based telephony system

New features added to the customer portal

Following on from last months massive update, Giant have been even busier getting the remaining standard features set up and ready for the front-end customer portal. The below new features have been deployed and a readily available for self-service via your own account login:

  • Queue management systems: Create, edit and delete your inbound call queues directly from our billing platform, program which extensions are to be called when trying to connect to a user within a specific queue, change queue announcements.
  • IVR management: Probably one of our most popular features, we’re please to announce that you can now set up and change how IVR(s) work on your phone system like changing destination for every key press, for example “Press 1 for sales” this can be set to transfer callers to your newly created sales queue.
  • Voicemail viewing and management: Create and edit your voicemail box(s), enable voicemail to email capabilities and choose your Voicemail Greetings.
  • Call Recording playback: Listen to your recorded calls via Giants’ portal.
  • Short Numbers: Program your own short numbers for quick dialling of custom destinations.

We still have a small list of features we are still working on adding to everyone’s account:

  • Music on Hold: Upload and create new Music playlists to give your callers something unique to listen to while they’re waiting.
  • Media File Management: Upload new sound files like .wav and .mp3 files for use with announcements, music on hold, voice mail greetings etc.
  • Create condition Schedules: Create diary-based call conditions from within your account to change how your phone system behaves based on Time, date, weekday, or holiday.

New Call Campaign Lists and automated dialling

You are now able to set up new fully automated call campaigns within your VoIP system. You can define unique names; schedule campaigns based on time/date and upload call lists for automated calling.

  • Upload call lists via CSV importing tool.
  • Schedule automation via a handy diary system.
  • Add specific agents to campaigns.
  • Multi-campaign management.
  • Pause, play, stop at anytime via the online portal.
  • Works with our Native mobile app and popular desktop software.
